Economic challenges are affecting everyone,
not just nonprofits.
As you and your family or organization adjust your finances to the new economic reality, I only ask you to continue your charitable giving and renew your investment in the nonprofits you support. Your investment pays invaluable dividends to our communities especially during challenging times. Nonprofit organizations increase our communities' well-being in countless ways. They provide critical health, education and social services. They help care for the environment and make the arts accessible to everyone. They employ thousands of people and generate millions of dollars for our local economy each year. They do all this with relatively few resources, most of which come from private donations and community support.
